How to choose the correct size ring to fit properly..

1. Decide on which finger you are going to wear the ring. The fingers on your dominant hand is normally larger than those of the other hand.
2. Cold weather tends to cause your fingers to shrink a bit.
3. High temperatures and other factors like water retention, injuries, etc. can cause swelling of the finger. Measure your finger in warm temperatures at the end of the day.
4. Keep the size of your knuckle in mind:

• Resin, resin wood and tungsten carbide rings

• Silicone rings

We find it best to use both methods and pick the smallest size, or the size in between. Metal rings are normally a bit loose around the base of your finger, whereas a silicone ring needs to fit snugly.

Method 1: Measuring the Diameter (Inside)

1. Measure a metal ring that you already own and fits properly on the exact same finger as the one for your silicone ring.
2. Put this ring onto a ruler and measure the inside (diameter) reading in millimetres.
3. Now find the size for your diameter measurement on the International conversion chart below. 
4. If the number falls between two sizes, pick the smaller size for silicone rings.
5. If you ordered the wrong size, a replacement fee will need to be charged. 

• Remember: If you have large knuckles your Resin, Resin Wood, Tungsten wedding band will be sized to fit over that part and will most probably be a little loose around the base of your finger. A silicone ring is flexible and fits snugly around the base of your finger but will stretch to pass the knuckle.

Method 2: Measuring the circumference (outside)

1. Cut a piece of string (preferably not stretchy) or a strip of paper (plus-minus 8mm wide x 120mm in length). Wrap the string/paper very tight around the ring finger.
2. Use pen/pencil to mark the string/paper where it completes the circle and the ends overlap.
3. Lay the marked string/paper flat on a ruler and measure the length of the marked area in millimetres.
4. Use the International conversion chart below to find your corresponding ring size in the circumference table.
5. If the number falls between two sizes, pick the smaller size.
6. If you ordered the wrong size, a replacement fee will need to be charged.

Silicone Rings:

• Silicone rings are made from a much more flexible material than metal and other wedding rings, that’s why we do not keep half sizes.
• Should a ring size chart indicate that your measurement falls between two numbers - we recommend that you order the smaller size.
• Silicone rings relax after a few days of wear. If you order the bigger number, you may find that your ring is too loose after a couple of days.
• The smaller ring may feel a little tight(not uncomfortably or painfully) at the beginning but will soon relax to the perfect fit.

Using both methods for example: if your diameter is 20mm = Size 10, and your circumference is 68mm = size 12, then you should take size 11.

Return Policy

Orbit Rings will accept returns on the following terms:

1. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

2. Incorrect, damaged or faulty (because of a manufacturing defect) product:

• Notify Orbit Rings within 7 (seven) days of receipt of the product.
• Orbit Rings will (where possible) exchange the product for the correct one upon receipt of the returned product.
• We will check all returns before the refund or exchange is issued.
• Orbit Rings will refund the full purchase price.
• A 30% handling charge will be issued for goods not being returned with the 'original' packaging.

3. Incorrect, damaged or faulty (because of a manufacturing defect) product on special offer:

• Notify Orbit Rings within 7 (seven) days of receipt of the product.
• Orbit Rings will exchange the product for the correct one upon receipt of the returned product, provided the product is still on special offer.
• We will check all returns before the refund or exchange is issued.
• Orbit Rings will refund the full purchase price, if the product is no longer on special offer.
• A 30% handling charge will be issued for goods not being returned with their 'original' packaging. 

4. Exchange (incorrect size or colour ordered)

• Notify Orbit Rings within 7 (seven) days of receipt of the product.
• Orbit Rings will exchange the product for the correct one upon receipt of the returned product.
• We will check all returns before the refund or exchange is issued. 
• A 30% handling charge will be issued for goods not being returned with their 'original' packaging.
• You will be liable, in terms of section 44(2) of the ECT Act, for the direct costs of returning the products, such as courier and/or shipping charges.

5.      Cancellation of order:

You are, in terms of section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (“ECT Act”) entitled to cancel, without reason and without penalty, your order.  In such an event

• Notify Orbit Rings within 7 (seven) days of receipt of the products.
• You undertake not to utilise the products.
• The original box with the original packaging is not opened or damaged.  We will check all returns before the refund is issued.
•  A 30% handling charge will be issued for goods not being returned with their 'original' packaging.
•  You will be liable, in terms of section 44(2) of the ECT Act, for the direct costs of returning the products, such as courier and/or shipping charges.
•  You will receive a full refund of the purchase price within 30 (thirty) days of the date of your cancellation of the order.
•  If you cancel your order later than 7 (seven) days of receipt of the products, we reserve the right to debit your payment card for the delivery fees in respect of any late cancellations. If you cancel      your payment for any reason or if your payment card should cease to be valid for whatever reason, you will nevertheless be bound to pay the full purchase price, including all costs incurred by us relating to the recovery thereof. Without prejudice to any other rights or remedies in law, we reserve the right to cancel forthwith any sale and/or your registration in the event of your breach of any of these Terms.

Refunds (if applicable)

• Customised ring and or rings that have engraving on them can not be returned or refunded. We will however assist to change the bespoke ring for % fee of the original purchase amount if a different size is required. 
• Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
• If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 (thirty) days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

• If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account.
• Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
• Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
• If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us via email.

 Gifts

• If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
• If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to the receiver later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will be notified about your return.

Shipping

• Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
• Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
